I loved Dead Space so ima go with Dante. Though I love DMC4 as well... Hmmm

I think many, disolitude and others are kinda missing the point a little. The point isn't the gameplay as much as the setting. I mean, how innovating can a hack'n slash game be? They are all very similar to each other in that aspect. So from a gameplay mechanics point of view there's no doubt that Dante's Inferno will be like God of War/DMC.

The beauty of Dante's Inferno is it's setting and atmosphere, the adventure of going through the nine circles of Hell portrayed through wonderful graphics design and art style. This vision is best explained in this video (remember to click Hq/HD):



And so far Visceral Games seem to have been making a superb job in my opinion.

Sorry, don't feel that atmosphere, and despite not having much to innovate in hack n' slash, it doesn't need to be boring (like it seems to be).

I also don't find the graphics wonderful (not even close), and mainly because the work art seems weak. I hope my opinion changes in the future...

^If you don't feel that atmosphere, then Dante's Inferno is clearly not for you.

For me the atmosphere is intense: brutal, disgusting, disturbing, Hell'ish, and there's not many games out there that has given me that feeling, ever.
(note that I didnt say the word scary, because DI will not be a very scary game, it's not a horror game)

Bayonetta by far..Dante's inferno looks weak

Dante´s Inferno for me.

Bayonetta looks lame. Chick with a guns in her shoes? WTF?

Bayonetta looks to have more focus on satisfying gameplay, while Dante's Inferno seems to have more focus on brutality and style (not that Bayonetta was unstyled .. it's styled ... in a very very wacky way ;) )

I think Bayonetta will be more up my alley.

hmmm Bayonetta has good things going for it. It's directed by the guy who made DMC1 (the only one I liked), Gameplay looks great with a lot of combos that you'll probably never gonna use them all (like DMC). The bad part for me is the Art style/Direction never was a big fan of DMC's art style either.

Dante on the other hand really looks like a GOW clone I thought people were exaggerating but wow !! The good thing is it looks like a good GOW clone (just like Bayonetta is a good DMC clone).

I will probably get both I really like what I'm seeing so far and up until now Action games have been average with nothing interesting. It looks like they are coming back with Bayonetta, DI, Lord of Shadow and of course God of War

Bayonetta looks too campy for me and the character designs are awful.
