Forums - Nintendo - Conduit sales!

Yea I knew sales were going to be pretty decent because there is still a large marketing campaign going on. Generally marketing will only continue a couple of weeks after release when the title has sold well and trying to keep that hype up. So I'm thinking Sega is pretty please and looking for more sales.

Haha I like how ioi just slips in and drops the number. All the same, solid numbers

If it really is 150k that is crazy. Way higher than my expectations. I figured it would do only 100K first week WW. 150K is NA alone is just nice. It could do 200K first week if EU comes through and buys the game. Dang I would hate to be the guy who predicted conduit wouldn't sell 200K lifetime.

Hopefully the game will have legs and get a holiday boost. I could do a million. All I hope though is that it gets enough for a sequel. From the looks of gladiator and Grinder, HVS is looking like they are improving. I could hardly imagine what conduit 2 would be like.

95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

Awww...  so basically 100k / 50k I assume

Still, not bad for a new IP, especially on Wii.

All depends on legs now.

More then I expected to be honest.

Still pretty good for a new Ip made by a developer that was working on Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go before this game.

He sOOOOoo did that on purpose! NO WAY he drops a "...Thats for 2 weeks" after people get a lil geeky about 150k unless he did it on purpose!!! *shakes fist*

Either way not bad, hopefully the next drop will be more blunted..

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

150,000 isn't bad for two weeks....hopefully it has some long legs and we'll get a sequel that improves on the original

I kind of hope that that's split 75k week 1, and 75k week 2 instead of 100k week 1, 50k week 2.

SimExchange was pretty accurate.

140k from 6/24- 7/4.

EDIT: I still stand by the following form of upcoming sales when it comes to The Conduit:(I posted this in the Conduit will sell 350k in 5 weeks thread, so I haven't changed these since then)

Worldwide (NA + EU)
Week 1 – 100k + 27k= 127k
Week 2- 48k + 19k = 67k
Week 3- 30k + 16k = 46k
Week 4- 19k + 14k = 33k
Week 5- 15k +11k = 26k

Looks like my first 2 weeks in NA were dead on if TC actually sold 100k first week.
