Forums - Website Topics - Still showing previous weekely chart when you click on current week link

I understand why it does this, it's because not all software and hardware numbers are in.

But when I click: 'Hardware sales, 04th Jul 2009', that's what I expect to get, and not:'Worldwide weekly chart for week ending 20th June 2009 ', as it does now.

It surely isn't too difficult to link to the correct info, whether it be complete for that week or not.

what page are you expecting? There is no weekly hardware page, only a weekly everything page. Do you want to be able to access the correct weekly everything page even if software isn't available? (which is actually rather useless other than adding comments)

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

When I hover the mouse pointer over a link that says: 'Hardware sales, 04th Jul 2009' and click on it, 'Hardware sales, 04th Jul 2009' is what I would expect it to show, and not direct me to an everything chart from 3 weeks ago.

If you're a regular it may seem obvious but anyone new must wonder why clicking on a straight forward headed link brings up something completely different.

If a weekly hardware chart is not available then either don't make it a clickable link or change the title to accurately state what it will display when clicked on.

Tonight or tommorow afternoon. Will probably be a double feature (6/27 & 7/4). Off-topic: Like your signature. Gives people hope for the future.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

While I understand why it goes to a different date, it is a misleading link and is not proper web creation.

It should just show the same page w/o HW.

I would also suggest an addition to those widgets on the front page that allow you to scroll through past weeks.

I had the same idea about scrolling through like the past 4 weeks or so, but haven't talked to anyone about it yet. Also, as for the link, I think it would be best if we got rid of the link, or made all pages display even if they only have partial information, however that is dangerous as people may misunderstand what they are looking at and jump to conclusions.
