Forums - Sony - Ps3 gone dark after most recent patch

I installed patch 2.80 yesterday on my ps3 and but when I tried to play the orange box this morning everything was way darker then usual in Team fortress 2 there was misplaced shadows on clear area, I thought It was my AV cable that was causing this but when I called consumer support the lady told me that it's probably caused by patch 2.80 which was suppose to ameliorate ingame graphics. Finally,I put all my configuration back to default and now it's a bit better but It still darker then before, first of all I want to know if I am the only one who experience this or is sony trying to cover the blur in certains ps3 games by making them darker

Maybe check if the RGB to Limited instead of Full

I think it's the RGB, I had it on full once and everything was darker then usual

it was already set at limited, did you get some strange shadow when you put it at full or was it just the color palet being darker?

it was already set at limited, did you get some strange shadow when you put it at full or was it just the color palet being darker?

I didn't notice any strange shadows just everything was darker

But 2.80 seems fine to me, theres no differences
