Don't forget the extra cost incurred with an XBL gold account is annual, so it will add more than $50 to the lifetime cost of your console, it just takes longer to do it.

not everybody plays on live!!!!!

Infact I have had my console since it was released, and I have only spent $30 on live

Yup, though I suspect that people pay it because their friends use Xbox Live. Its a vicious cycle like that really...

Tease.

WOOF WOOF!

thats what dog's say

I like squilliam even more now!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Idk, I mean I really wouldn't count Wii Sports as a game. Yea sure it's a game, but there's nothing to it except short bursts of fun but it gets old. I'd rather have a Wii bundle with a Wii game than Wii Sports because I'm not going to get more than a few hours from Wii Sports. It would be like 15+ hours for Twilight Princess.

I would say my friends and I have each probably clocked more time playing Wii Sports than 90% of other non-online games this generation.

Don't forget the wireless connection for the xbox 360. That'll range from 5-100 dollars (wired conection/ wireless). With that factored in, the xbox 360 and the ps3 are literally the same price. (300 + 100 = 400)

They coulda put in a story mode :P.

The Problem is that a wireless connection is not always nessessary. There are some who will use it, and some who will not. Some people do enjoy the convience and lack-of-wires approuch of the wireless connection for the 360. I myself just took a drill to my wall and fed the cable though the wall and into my modem.

You might as well factor in a blu-ray player for the Wii and 360 if your going by that logic. We're not trying to deduce how much it would cost to get a equilivant gaming experience out of the 3 systems. Rather we've deduced that gaming is freakishly more expensive than one would imagine with the price tags bopping around.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

I love this argument, since the wireless "included" with my PS3 has never worked, and I have to plug in the console to connect to the internet.  I usually do the same with my 360 when I watch streaming movies, just to avoid hiccups, but otherwise at least that $100 adapter works.

Believing in the PLAYSTATION®3......IS.......S_A_C_R_I_L_E_G_E

Wii Sports has certainly seen more hours of play than all my other Wii games put together (Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Battallion Wars 2, No More Heroes, Zack & Wiki, de Blob, Bully, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, Nights, Eledees, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Wii Play).
