Is this yet another horror on Wii? Did Fatal Frame somehow do more sales than reported?

I know you're being ironic and all, but according to Media Create and Famistu, Fatal Frame IV is the best selling Fatal Frame game in Japan, i.e. the only region it's been launched in.

But because we don't want to play it, it will never be fixed and released elsewhere. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say!

Last I heard Fatal Frame 4 was coming to the US in Winter 09/10. and that wasnt long ago.

Are you sure?! That'd be awesome!

Not bad, prob is I dont own a PS3 to play it on, and I'm pretty broke due to the fact that I have to outsource most of my my dev team's level design. Yay for funding game development out of your own pocket.

So the original guys still haven't delivered eh? Sorry to hear that the difficulties continue.

sixth sense.

"i see.... fat people".

Very nice.

I looked around the website and it looks good!

Do ya'll have any funding for the project? Also, what about a release date?

The funding all comes from my day job salary. I directly am the producer in all sense of the word As for release date, not a set one. Right now I can give a Summer 2010 estimate, but possibly sooner. Really what it is, we have level designers aboard, but 2 of them crapped out and disappeared. So I have to fund an outsourcing project for the levels, which will be in the ballpark of $5,000-$10,000. As soon as we have levels, most everything else is done and ready for rigorous testing. I may look into a few small business grants soon to expedite the process. Developing this game has been like giving birth to a rhinocerous through my peehole.

@noname - Well, I read a conflicting report today, from May-ish that Tecmo doesn't own the IP for FF4, Nintendo does, and for some reason Nintendo is pulling a Disaster move again. We'll see. I really wanted to check this game out, as I love all horror games. I already have a zombie game in mind for next-gen consoles down the road. As for the level designers, yeah, its been a pretty rough go. Fortunately, I have a couple of key programmers that have stuck with the project through thick and thin, and now we're getting pretty close to the finish line. It's time to pull the team through and get this game out there.
