I upgraded from a PS2/Gamecube to a Wii. In Time I will also have a PS3. I do not see that as upgrading again, rather finally being able to make myself buy it, if and when the price drops.

The fact that they couldn't come up with an example of it ever happening in a single console generation says a lot about their wishful thinking.
What a God awful example. People upgraded from the N64 to the PS2? Not even in the same gen. And he makes it sound like N64 was the market leader until PS2 came along.

No, he's right! Just like when people upgraded their Colecovision for an SNES
Sony shows again and again that they just don't get it. Hopeful thinking isn't going to stop Sony from sinking.

Stuff like this is why I can't tolerate Sony these days....
