IS it good?

Is it a good palce to start for a person who knows not much about the Persona Series

I was SHOCKED to see how well it was reviewed, I was shocked as people keep on saying FF is the only well reviewed JRPG in the west.

So far, I'm on day 2 (end of it).....its interesting, but obviously havn't seen much gameplay yet

Final question:

are there random battles when you need to travel in your town (assuming later on in the game I actually get to travel around this time.)??

No random battles at all. I got my copy on the shelf, but won't start it till I finish P3 FES (precisely 100 hours in! )

It's out of print around here just like every friggan JRPG that comes out. Let me know if it's worth it. I have a lot of games on my plate right now.

Thing is I saw it at this 2nd hand store near my GP Work Experience place......& I was SHOCKED to see P4 for ONLY £10!!!

it was like the BARGAIN OF THE YEAR!....so I grabbed it

Also I heard, the games aren't linked, so I can play P3 after I finish P4

Gee, steroid, ebay? amazon? I got P4 new with an artbook for $43 not so long ago.

I got to finish FFX still, then there's Tales of Symphonia that I need to finish, if I don't soriku will murder me.....but its a great game so I will finish it

then there are the DS games I have, FF4 Remake, TWEWY & a few others

So I'm gonna finish ALL of them by the end of july & then & only then will I TOUCH Pokemon Platinum, because I know, If I start Pokemon Platinum now, all other games won't be played again for ages

And if you don't finish FFX I'll murder you :P

Hmm I picked up FF X recently but it was scratched. Currently still need to beat: MGS3, FF 12, Tales of Vesperia, Gears 2, God of War, Punch Out, SMG.... Shit.... I better get started. :O

I bought it on release (preordered) for 20€ including shippment. Got the soundtrack cd with it.

The only Persona game I played before it was some of Revelations: Persona (thats the first one) but they are pretty different so it didn't help me much.
