Nordlead, I hope you didn't mean Sonic The Hedgehog 3 for the Sega Master System, 'cause that's considered one of the top Sonic games right next to Sonic & Knuckles!

Anyway, as for Sonic games for the Wii, I can't you should take my recommendations, since I don't own any for the Wii. But I heard some cool/positive stuff about Sonic and The Secret Rings and Sonic Unleashed has the best rollercoaster level desings in a Sonic game to date, only turn-off from Unleashed is when you have to play as the Werehog, both games for the Wii. Again, don't take my words, probably rent them first to find out!

By the way, the best compilation of Sonic games is Sonic Mega Collection for the GCN. You won't be dissapointed, if you can find one to buy!(I'm lucky to have it! :) )

Sonic The Hedgehog 1,2&3 for the Genesis were good, everything since then has sucked. I played Sonic and the Secret Rings for a while, but the controls were horrid and the story was really lame even if I only got to the first couple levels. I only rented it because it had a Mario Party knock off multiplayer type game which also really sucked. While Mario Party 8 isn't great it is much better than the multiplayer in Sonic's.

btw, my bro's wii came with a "15 in 1" controller add-ons (baseball bat, tennis racket etc etc_. Barring the wheel I think these are all useless how right am I?

you can beat him with the baseball bat or tennis racket so you could find some use for them.

You just need the Wiimote and the ability to have imagination.

And Nordlead, if that game didn't made you a believer(as a non-Sonicfan, supporter, etc), than it's definitly a pass!
