Depends on your level and how much grinding you've done

It won't take you a lot of grinding time to finish the main story.
On the other hand, if you want to hit 1 billion damage or get the platinum trophy for Disgaea 3......
VERY HARD.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo
Flaming (Calling another user (any user) a fanboy is flaming.) ~ Machina-AX
Hmm....
I already have the game so Im gonna play it I guess but dunno if I will finish. Depends if the grinding is fun and doesnt feel like grinding or if its traditional annoying grinding.

It's not hard as impossible, but yes, you will have to grind to beat the game. But, if your characters are leveled enough and with good items, you won't have trouble, it's not one of those games that you can only beat bosses with a certain strategy
But yeah, be prepared to spend some time grinding...and going a lot into the item world to level up both your equipment and your characters
Though I found the grinding is more fun than in other games, specially because it's so unconventional. Plus, you can "force" the grinding, for example by throwing one enemy into another you can get a more powerful one, perfect to get lots of EXP if you kill him

Ah I remember the first time I learned how to do that. Made everything so much easier...until the new high level monster obliterated my team.
It's comparatively easy to finish the main game, and you'll inevitably play it again for all the alternate endings. Most of the side quest however requires a lot more grinding.
The game has a ridiculous level-cap (9999) and allow you to remake all characters with higher base stats to begin the grind all over again!

Ive got too many games that I need to play so I doubt I will replay it and only rarely do side-quests. Since most side-quests in games are boring.

Disgaea is grinding central! I'm playing it now... the item world is not surviveable without good ol' grind.
Xen you liar!! You said it was easy and kickback....you didnt say I had to grind!! >.

In actual game difficulty is pretty avg. its not too easy, its not too hard.
End game is pretty much just crazy grinding, Disgaea 3 has tools to reduce the grinding that Disgaea 1 and 2 don't have (allowing > 300% xp boost) but you have to grind a bit to get to the point that you don't have to grind much... if that makes sense...
