Sky Crawlers

- Coming to America courtesy of XSEED
- Also bringing over Fragile
- Should buy their games and support the company if you’re been complaining about these types of games not coming
- They’ll go out of business if we don’t buy their games
- Matt, Bozon likes Fragile despite shortcomings
- Sky Crawlers looks cool too
- Got good reviews in Japan
- Happy they’re bringing Sky Crawlers over

- The Conduit vs. The Grinder in this stage of development - looks nicer, multiplayer ideas sound more ambitious - First impression of The Grinder is that it’s original, looks promising, already more superior than The Conduit, online mode will be much improved - More optimistic about The Grinder than they were for The Conduit

 

I think we maybe able to put some hope into The Grinder. :D

Perfect timing, I was just looking for that and not having found it about to retire when -whoops there it is!

Not much of value though (which is why I can't be bothered to listen)

Definately interested in both Fragile and Sky Crawlers.   Not sold on Grinder.

I'm going to listen to it later, but I think they were reading my mind about The Grinder. I was already saying that shortly after The Grinder was announced.

I'm glad Fragile is coming to NA. I wanted this game to take screen shots for my P&P game sessions.



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

- Doesn’t look like the Wii will be seeing a Metal Gear game anytime soon but wouldn’t rule it out completely, maybe we’ll get an old game.

Wack Juice. Unless it is a Metal Gear (no Solid) remake, I want nothing to do with it. Enough old PS2 games ported over.

Why does everyone think Suda 51 is moving on to greener pastures. He isn't going to find a wider audience on PS360. period. Not unless he severely changes his development styles.

Stuff like this blows my mind. I really think that some of these people are too close to the industry. They just go along with the group-think of the moment and don't examine things for themselves.

I don't understand it either. The is in the lead by a large margin, but they want Nintendo to switch consoles like they are losing.

 

We are more likely to see a double HD PS3 than we are an HD Wii.

People have been waiting for the other shoe to drop, i.e. for "the fad" to end for some time. They figure its inevitable that Wii will prove itself out to be a fluke, and Nintendo will have to correct it and return to the norm.

While they wait for the other shoe, I'll wait to see if they realize how stupid they have been.  I'm not going to hold my breath.
