I can't even imagine why anybody wouldn't buy the play and charge kit.
Cheap, no need to buy batteries, no need to recharge batteries, you're not fucked if all batteries are empty

and some of the old Xbox games look REALLY fantastic on it. I thought a friend was kidding me - in early '07, I'd never played Ninja Gaiden. He loaned me the disc and told me on the 360, it looked better than some of the PS3 launch titles - he was right.
I believe that the 360 only upscales dvd's if you are using an HDMI cable or the VGA cable. Otherwise they will be limited to 480p(I believe).

Congratz. Having all three is the way to go. Seriously you can pretty much play only AAA games for the rest of your life.
