At first when I heard they were making a movie out of this book I was horrified, I thought they would ruin one of my favourite childrens books of all time.

That all changed after I saw the trailer, it looks fantastic! I like the fact that Max doesn't say a word throughout the trailer, and the less he speaks in the film the better imo.

Watching the trailer brought back so many happy memories of being read it by my granddad as I fell asleep. Plus using an Arcade Fire track as the main theme for the trailer made it that much better.

Those captions were really dumb, but looks decent aside from that.

Do you mean the lines that said "in all of us is fear" etc? if so I don't really mind them personally, they all kinda set it up to say "In all of us is a wild thing".

I'm very very pumped for it, I have been all year.

That was an odd trailer... I dunno why but it seemed like it was some kind of fan-made thing and not from the actual movie.

Nevertheless, I am seriously pumped for the eventual release of the film, also excited for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Toy Story 3 next year... 2010 is gonna be a killer year for movies!

I am so excited. A guy I know studying music in his final year is creating a composition designed too be played through a reading of the book for his final assessment.

Great children's book and the Trailer looks promising. However (as a film fan) I've noted with sorrow its been delayed quite a bit already due to internal wrangling - i.e. issues with original vision from Spike Jonzes vs the studios wishes.

Looks like its finally going to be released so I hope that the final product hasn't been comprimised.
