Forums - Microsoft - 360 games that don't get the credit for graphics you think they deserve.

Eternal Sonata has arguably the best cell shading graphic this gen, superior even to ToV which came out after it to much more fanfare.

I'd also like to give DoA4 a nod, it was literally the first game I saw on the 360 and HD gaming.

Really wanted a 360 back then just to drool over the by now outdated graphic, alas I was still a student then and hadn't the money :(

DOA4 was the first "next-gen" game I played, too. I shat bricks,
Dunno how it holds up today, but it was the prettiest 360 launch title.

Have an equivalent thread up for the Wii. So those of you who also have a Wii can post stuff there.

Back on topic (since the point of that was growing this kind of thread, not derailing), does Assassin's Creed get credit for its graphics? It should.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

^ lol at the shameless plug.

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

I would mention Geats of War 2 but the thread is about games that didn't get the credit they deserved. And for me, GoW2 actually did get the credit from the people that played it and know very well that it is by far the most impressive (graphically) console game.
So, instead I should also mention CRACKDOWN. The cel shading was amazing and the draw distance and scale just ...gorgeous. Kudos to those who mentioned it.
And Condemned. By the time it was released it was freakin' awesome!

That would be if it was unrelated to this. I directly stated there I was inspired by this very thread. That's a complement to it.

I would say "Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom". Not the best game, but beautifull graphics.

eternal sonata looked very good, and judging by the tales demo, sonata is better than that.

pgr4 is a looker as is pgr3, crackdown was pretty advanced for its time, and i think fight night r3 is also a looker.

best ive seen on 360 is gears 2 caverns, the art direction is top notch.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

The people who say mass effect has frame issues among other things are they exaggerating or are they as bad as ign claimed? I'm really interested in this game but just when I'm close people say its short and buggy!!!

The elevators are the most annoying thing, because while install decreases most of the issues, the lifts are of a fixed length

GeoW2 gets plenty of credit as do most of the rest mentioned here, though LO probably deserves more credit, though I would prefer a less grey art style

Yeah, The Prodigy ftw!

Though "Omen" is my favourite on their current album.
