Gears 2.

Its graphics are awesome, but it got overshadowed by Killzone 2.

Mass Effect.

It just looks ace. Cant wait for ME2.

Yeah but Gears 2 out sold it more by more than 3 million copies.

How does that have anything to do with grapahics?

I still think Gears 1 looks more realistic than Gears 2. I think it looks awesome.

This is a graphics thread... so what are you talking about?

A 360 exclusive that I think looks amazing in Crackdown.

Consider the time of release (early 2007) and consider that the engine never EVEr has any slowdown. And then consider the scale of the game...

That is one amazing game engine people. To bad GTA4 couldn't use that engine...

Madden 08 and Madden 09
Yes this game is multiplatform, but the 360 version of these games look and play by far and away better then any other system.

Madden 08, I would agree with.  Although Madden 09' ran and looked almost identically between the two HD systems.  I think you're exaggerating a tad.

Gears 2 was also about upping the scale and performance more than increasing the graphical detail. You're fighting in a collapsing building, and the building doesn't look more detailed than any of the areas in Gears 1, but it's obviously a lot more dynamic than any of those areas.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Honestly, I think Gears 2 looks better than Killzone 2 (making it the best looking game this generation, imo).

I haven't even played it. Just going by video I think it's more impressive than anything else out there.

Sales aren't everything either, so... what's your point?
