Forums - Gaming - Analysis: X360 underachieving and why it won't get a price-cut in 2009

@garnett oh but it's all xbox ladies camping in here darling! God, I leave this place for a day or two and now I can't even find the kitchen sink.

It is?  It sure seems to me like it's one PS3 fanboy desperately trying to send some kind of message by being continuously banned and rejoining with a new account.  Is there anyway mods/admins can block people who are trying to access the site via proxy?

Soooo, let's open up the old wound again, shall we?

I said back then when I started this thread the 360 wouldn't be getting a price cut this year...and so it seems it'll be exactly like that. No, a 360 elite is not a price cut when it's just replacing the Pro in the chain. A price cut would be the 360 getting a price lower than what it previously got. : ie.: less than $300 for a HDD-equipped sku or less than $200 for an "arcade" model.

I've claimed the 360 won't sell 12 million units WW this calendar year, which would mean 1 million more of what it sold in 2008. I still stand by that claim, it won't, and only the lord knows if it will even reach 11.5 million WW by dec 31st. I highly doubt it right now, but let's give it a chance for that much.

And yeah, the xbox fans countered with their favourite "GAP SHIELD OF ANTI-PS3" and we all know how that sorry and tired story goes. I'll be happy to talk about your precious little gap by the end of this year!!! Stay tuned!
