Forums - PC - Star Craft 2

They say that star craft is still packing a pretty healthy fan base online, that it is still an excellent game to play and that star craft 2 is going to have to really push new terriotory to better the original. My question to you readers is though, do you guys actually want a revamped graphics version of star craft that may let down hopes and have balancing issues? Is Blizzard making this game in vain?

I personally like the original and think that Blizzard should not make a sequel and instead move on to diiferent projects, however I am interested in what you guys think about this upcoming sequel

If they release a version of the game with all 3 campaign packs and support for multiplayer over lan all for the price of a standard game then I shall consider possibly looking at some reviews to see if it's worth a purchase

Starcraft II is taking so long because they're tweaking it in minute detail to make it balanced.

I don't like Starcraft or any other Blizzard games but Starcraft II will surely be the ultimate RTS. The gameplay between the three races will be perfectly balanced.

Don't worry, they will release such version, it will be called Starcraft 2 Battlechest and will come out after SC2 and both expansions are out.

Yep, they do that with all of their games.

Starcraft was all about balance; heck, I still take by surprise most of my opponents underestimating my Queens and Arbiters.

If they nail the balance in this one, while offering the same robust, cinematic experience, Starcraft 2 is bound for greatness. And taking a huge chunk off my life.

Indeed, there is no way that starcraft 2 is not going to be a amazing game that will be loved and well received by RTS fans worldwide. Blizzard is known for making some of the greatest RTS's to ever grace our computers and I doubt starcraft 2 will be the exception for little details like LAN and 3SKU's for single player campaigns.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

not my favorite style of game, but I'm sure it will only disappoint the most rabid purists.

I agree that Blizzard could indeed try something different, but it's only the second game in the franchise, and it has been selling for 11 years already, this next one will probably live on for years too.

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Perhaps others will love it, but for me if I can't play over lan then that means I don't get to play multiplayer. So I just don't see the point

Why do you must play over LAN? Why cant u play over the internet like everyone else? Even most LAN lovers mostly play trhough battlenet because it's not easy to gather friends for LAN gaming 24-7.
