I will never forget Super Bowl XXXIV and the last play. That is in contention for the greatest SB ever. I have you to thank for that, Steve. I hope you RIP.

He's so well known that I have no idea who the hell he is.

Regardless, how unfortunate to die on Independence Day.

We'll miss you George.

My friends call me Hadoken because I'm down-right fierce

Air II and I went to college together. Awesome guy.

I was in Financial Aid at Alcorn State and he brought a handout to a woman working there. I was like 'Steve McNair!' He smiled and shook my hand. I was like 'Man, can I get one of those too please?"

He was like 'No prob.'

He went to his dorm, got a handout and brought it back within a few minutes. Even signed it for me and shook my hand again.

The next time we chatted was when he was doing a clinic in South Mississippi. I was at a KFC there and his limo took up 4-5 spaces. He got out with his wife and got some chicken - LOL. I walked to him and said 'Steve!' He turned and said 'What up!' and hugged me. I was like 'I know you probably don't remember me, but ...' and he was like 'Man, I hooked you up with that handout at Alcorn, son!' Then, I called my dad over and introed him to Steve McNair.

He was a really good guy. His dad was absent and actually, his bro was the first Air McNair. Steve was actually Air II.

Here's the handout he gave me.

RIP Steve Mcnair. This is so unfortunate. My prayers go out to his family.

McNair was a great quarterback.. as a quarterback myself, it hurts to see one of your idles die especially the way he did and at the age he did. He was a big inspiration to many of football players in Tennessee(grew up there) and him and Troy Aikman were my football idles while playing... R.I.P. Steve

Wow. That's messed up.

He was a really good quarterback and had a lot of heart. R.I.P Steve.
