The PS3 was *rushed* to market, with no Blu Ray and had RROD?

Sony charged for PSN?

Sony had charged $299 for the PS3 to start off with one SKU?

Sony decided to wait and went with HD-DVD instead of Blu Ray?

If Sony had kept their previous gen exclusives - even with the RROD?

If MS had delayed the 360 and added Blu Ray?

If MS didn't charge for LIVE?

If MS lost Halo and it went MP?

If MS had passed on Mass Effect and Bioshock in favor of Haze and Too Human?

id have still got both

I would still have the xbox, and I am sure the xbox would be doing a bit better than the ps3 is doing at this point.

The trouble that sony had in the beginnining of this gen was lack of advertising.If they had released the ps3 like that there main business would still be hurting, and they would be hurt with the death of high def more than Microsoft

Then it would mean that MS did everything it could've done wrong and its gaming division would probably go bust (360 would be a flop) and PS3 would do considerably well, but i still do think that Wii would sell better.

What if:

Instead of consistently going after 3rd parties rooted in Playstation in order to make the 360 give the "me too" impression for their games (look guys, we get GTAIV/DMC/FF too!), they decided to focus on their first party?
