finally, let's hope she stays out of politics. The woman is as mad as a hatter.

She sounded very nervous in that speech... Who wants to bet there's a scandal about to hit the fan?

I've never crossed my fingers this hard in my life.  She HAS to deliver again.

Isn't she that dumb ass who got prank called by a Canadian who said he was Sarkozy?

You'd think she'd at least resign inside a building. Geese making noise in the background is just the tiniest bit...annoying

I don't know, I suspect that she resigned because she is tired of being "Bullied" by the press and bloggers ...

Over the past 4 elections that I have watched I had never seen the vice presidential candidate ever face the scrutiny that Sarah Palin faced, and I have never seen any candidate deal with the personal and family attacks (or gotcha journalism) that Sarah Palin had to deal with. If this ended with the election this would have been bad enough, but since the election many mainstream media outlets have continued their Tabloid quality reporting on her.

Seriously, when you have major international events like rioting in Iran or nuclear tests in North Korea, have two wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, and are in the middle of the worst economic crisis in (at least) half a century and the media is pawing through your garbage to dig up dirt to assassinate your character 9 months after you lost an election don't you think you'd do everything you could to get out of the public eye?

Regardless of whether you think there is a bias in the media or not, you have to accept that there is something sick happening to the media when the supreme court of Honduras ordering the military to overthrow a president who is trying to gain dictatorial power is not reported on; and the lead stories have now become whether John from "John and Kate plus 8" is cheating, or if a contestant on American Idol is gay or not.

I would be more enthused if I truly believed that this was indeed the end, but I am sad to say reasonably certain that she is making a presidential run. I honestly cannot comprehend why those that are conservatives or Republicans which are basically the exact same thing now like or ever liked this person. Yet you say her name and they seem to swoon.

The stupidity seems to have an intoxicating effect on this block of voters. The dumber you are it seems the more they like them. Which is just god damned scary. I think it boils down to the she is just like me mentality, and when I meet one of these people I ask them this. Do you think you are qualified to run a state let alone a country. The smarter ones intentionally change the subject. The dumber ones ramble off in some other direction without thinking.

I would like to actually see a Republican presidential candidate that is not as dumb as a box of rocks, or so old I doubt they could make it through a term.

Me too, very well said. Sara Palin should have never run for VP, but this kind of crap is just sick.
