Forums - Nintendo - Motion controlled cricket heading to Wii

Great news for people who like Cricket - hope its a well made and fun game. I don't really like sports games so I'll pass, but if it makes people happy and helps grow the Video Game industry I support it.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Somehow, I think that this is one game that will not be coming to North America.

Mike from Morgantown

I've always wanted to know how cricket works though...

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I guess the controller would be great for this, but one thing is, the sport is boring to watch, OMG it's boring, but usually playing it is different, so lets hope that this isn't the OMG boring of the real sport.

I care not for cricket, but they correctly pluralised 'stadium' so I'm tempted to buy the game anyway :P

Dammit, I was praying for Wii Croquet with a level editor. Those jerks must've misheard me.

awesome.

I emailed codemasters 3months ago a long email explaining the benefits of Wii + Cricket with Wii Motion Plus. Hopefully they will use it, if not hopefully they will implement it in a future cricket game.

First Grand Slam Tennis, now this?

It'll certainly hit the charts in the UK, seeing how the Wimbledon is helping GST!

I would be more interested if motion+ was utilized.
