Honestly this is getting out of Hand. Atlus You've made me crazy about Persona games and I just want to know when do you guys think we can expect a new game to be announced? Im hoping for TGS 09 and a release in Japan Spring 2010 and NA Winter 2010

It probably won't be announced until next year. Persona is now by far Atlus' biggest franchise. They probably don't want to rush the game out, because there has already been so many Persona games over the last couple of years. If they start making one every year the sales would most likely decrease...

Of course I'd love a Persona 5. Persona 4 is my favorite RPG of all time, but I just don't see it happening

Hopefully, 0. A new Persona every year = idea drought = repetition = bad.

Just give me a new mainline Shin Megami Tensei. It's been a lot of time since the last one.

I expect an announcement at TGS.
Persona 5 for this year is unlikely but you never know some games were announced 2 months before it's released but if you asked I want a Persona 5 right now. That's how badly I want to play Persona 5.

We've had a Persona game three years straight, and we haven't had a mainline game for 5 years. I think it's time for SMT IV and I'm willing to bet that it will be the next SMT game that gets announced.

It won't. Especially with the announcement that Atlus isn't doing another Persona on PS2. That means they have to develop a new engine for new hardware.
