Forums - Microsoft - Play (USA) Magazine July 2009 issue features Shadow Complex.

One of the two versions of the July 2009 Play Magazine's features Shadow Complex on the cover (the second cover features WET), and the lead editorial says that Shadow Complex is the first xbla (and no PSN, VC, or WiiWare  game has ever secured one) to be featured on the cover of Play Magazine.  Then included in the issue is a feature article about Play Magazine's trip to see the development of Shadow Complex written prior to the game's debut at E3.  Another great new issue of Play Magazine has hit the stands.

Epic made game + microsoft published = publicity!

Obvious news here...

I think its news that Shadow Complex is the first ever xbla game to score the cover of Play Magazine. That makes the new issue collectable.

I don't think there is any question about whether or not Shadow Complex will be good.  Going by Epic's past exclusives on the 360, it will either be the best or second best exclusive (after SC:  Conviction) released on 360 in 2009.

Shadow Complex will be the best NEW game released on XBLA....but Braid will be tough to beat.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Being an old fan of eighties adventure games, I also think the remake of Monkey Island will be good (especially since I didn't get it the first time around).  I also like Sam and Max coming to xbla (I'd like to see remakes of the original and several others after Monkey Island -- like Loom, Grim Fandango, Maniac Mansion, and I would like to see remakes of some of Sierra's adventures too like The King's Quest series).

This game looks incredibly sick. Metroidvania for the wiiiiiiin!

this game does not look to interesting. I think they should give it to a more competent developer

Edit: nevermind this isn't the main epic games

Actually Chair is making the game, but they are owned by Epic
