FF13 will have disappointing sales while FF14 (ps3 exclusive) will flop horribly.. leading Square to re-evaluate its support for Nintendo and we will probably see a main FF game for Nintendo's platform in the next generation.

The Wii's hardware definitely kept it from getting it this generation.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is Nintendo exclusive, isn't it ?

I don't know why you should care next gen then because when next gen starts you probably don't have much time to game anymore.

I use to get really hyped for the FF's since I had played FF2. Not anymore though. The last one i liked a whole lot was FF9. FF10 was pretty good, but meh to me, and ff12 was a let down. O I did try the online ff11. It was actually a pretty decent game, but when you are level 44 for over 2 weeks because of group finding problems, well The was the last of light the game disc saw. Will it ever be only Nintendo again? No, I highly doubt it. Unless Sony/MS in time stop making consoles and noone else comes in.

Personally i couldn't care less whether Nintendo consoles started getting entries of the numbered series again, i have Crystal Chronicles and that's all i want from the Final Fantasy brand name. If somebody wants the numbered FF titles that bad just get a PS console... i really don't think Nintendo needs those games.

Nintendo should make its own jrpg which could rival FF. They got the talent and a big load of money to support it with. That way they won't have to care about square-enix that much.
