I watched the conference from start to finish. I was left mostly distraught, and quite disturbed. I do not know perhaps I was the only one that caught the veiled insinuations behind the remarks that were made. Which were the experience needs to be kept sloppy so grandma can play, and that third parties would take care of the rest.
I am sorry fuck grandma. She already has gotten enough fucking games. Fuck the third parties I buy Nintendo consoles to play Nintendo first party games. Third parties take care of me on my other console. So once again why own a Wii.
I have already tried to pawn the console off on friends and family. A hundred dollars would actually be the best offer I have gotten. Is the market for the console that much better on Ebay?
I am not trying to come off as an ass, but well that is just how I feel. I saw the conference, and it was like the last straw for me. The last hopes I had for the console broke right there. So I am done with that, and probably done with Nintendo period. Hell I was so blah after the whole thing that I couldn't bring myself to watch the Sony conference, and I had actually wanted to watch it. Instead I just buried myself in Halo 3.
Anyway my only wisdom is this. Sony whatever you do. Do not have your conference after the Nintendo conference next year.
