Yeah and this site's numbers get updated all the time based on these kind of reports. I wonder what's so different this time. Maybe the Wii numbers were switched with 360 numbers ololol

Well wii sales are mostly based on casual hype (no one can deny this). Hype has a tendency to die after a while. In any case I didnt think it would happen this fast at all so maybe gfk screwed up. Maybe not, we'll see.

I guess that means Famitsu numbers must be wrong this year too then ...
360 > wii......2:1 ------ WHHHAAAAAAAAT!!
Wii = PS3 -- WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!
lol, check your source again, there's no way these numbers are true, no way in hell
I would LOVE them to be true, just to finally see HD gaming deserve the success stolen away from it!
but they can't be true!

I said it first on page 1 of the thread while everyone was giving me crap over it.
I WIN
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
I think that people are missing the fact that these numbers are heavily rounded, there is a margin of error of +/- 100k for the data over limited time periods, and a margin of error of +/- 50k on the LTDs.
