Forums - Gaming - DSi vs PSP Go.

Id probably buy a Psp- 3000 over a Psp go. No physical media and its 80 bucks over a Psp - 3000. I like the Psp - 3000 more than the DSi since it has better multimedia options. Games like dissidia, monster hunter, Crisis core,MGS: PO and Peacemaker are only on the psp so yeah. Only games i can see on DS that really appeals to me is Pokemon because i love the series, the world ends with you and the new KH DS, but i like the PSP version better.

The Psp Go looks like a big rip off in my opinion. Cost is too high, smaller screen, and again no UMD option. Atleast they could is have an option to install a UMD into the psp go's flash memoryfrom an adapter that hooks up to the psp for installation for the high price it has.

PSP GO for me because of it's sleek design.
I love both of them it's just that PSP GO looks cooler.

Would you rather buy the DSi or the PSP Go? Now the DSi only cost $169.99 which is $80 cheaper than the PSP Go which is 249.99(as much as a Wii.) The good things about the DSi are that its has 2 camera, uses SD cards, bigger screen, plays music, has DSiWare and its cheaper. The bad thing is it doesn't play GBA games. The good things about the PSP Go is it is smaller than the PSP, plays music, 16 GB of flash memory. The bad thing is it doesnt use UMD and it is more expensive.

I am an arrogant and idiot person.... thank you for not reading my comments :)

There... now I fixed it ;) Seriously comments like these should stop already, and I hope that guys like you will be banned soon :| If its a joke then its far from being obvious...

So I'm arrogant, an idiot, and should be banned because I find the PSP subpar, especially when compared to the DS?  I answered the original question of the thread, and explained why I would choose the one I chose.

The topic is "Would you rather buy the DSi or the PSP Go?"  One is cheaper and has 10x the library, so I would rather buy that one by a large margin.  If you disagree, fine, but don't go flaming me for having a different opinion than you.

I can honestly say that the DS is the best thing I've ever owned, and I can also honestly say that there is not one single PSP game I feel like I'm missing out on.  If one of us is an idiot, I'm pretty sure it's the guy with the MS-painted console loyalty avatar.  You need to calm down and accept the fact that a huge majority of people prefer the DS to your precious Sony's offering.

There si a distinct difference between heaving a resonable opinion and telling that in a forum, or just blatantly trolling a system and its game library. You sir did choose to do the second option. I never in my life stated that the PSP or its games where better then the DSs, even more I more then once pointed out that I can clearly see why some might choose it over the PSP. My loyalty is not blind by far, I actually owned 2 DSs, at least 3 NEs-es, 1 SNES, 1 GC, a couple of GBs, 2 GBAs from Nintendo. And when there is Sony or PSP bashing for a real reason Im the first to point out the issues.

But I never in my life, not even for the N-gage I went and arrogantly trolled it whitout any reason on a forum ;) Simply because I trully bealive that there is no system that doesnt have at least a handfull of qyuality games...

I didn't "troll" anything.  Trolling would be if someone started a thread about how good the PSP Go is, and I posted in the thread and said, "PSP Go sucks it's a piece of shit!"  That isn't what I did, though.  I posted in a thread about which of the two handhelds I would rather buy, stated my preference, and explained why.

I don't know what you want me to say.  I'd rather have a DSi than a PSP Go, and the reason why is  because DS has about 100 titles that I love and PSP has one game, Kingdom Hearts, that I might ever consider playing.  I was not trolling in any way.  The reason that I don't want a PSP Go is not because it's Sony, it's not because of any technical issues, it's because the library is not even remotely worth the price of the hardware in my opinion.  Maybe, to you, the utter lack of quality games is not a "real reason" not to want a PSP, but it's the reason I do not and never will own one, so deal with it.

DS has better games at the moment, but PSP has better games coming for it. I think I'd go for the PSP Go, because it is compatible with my PS3 and I've been meening to get a PSP since 3000. DSi is too similar to my DS, and I have a cellphone if I need to take pictures on the go.
Since alot of people are gonna flame me for saying PSP has better games coming, I'll list some that I will get if I get a PSP Go.
- Gran Turismo PSP
- Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
- Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier
- Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny
- Socom U.S. Navy Seals FTB 3
- MotorStorm: Arctic Edge

The game I was interested most in DS was GTA: China Town Wars, and I was thinking about getting it, but now that its getting ported to the PSP, thats another reason for me to get a PSP.
