How do people expect a $299 PS3 to outsell a $599 Xbox 360?

Wii and 360 have already peaked. Ps3 is just hitting it's prime.
Ps3 will outsell 360 for the rest of this generation after it gets a price drop.

He meant from third place of this gen's home consoles, to third best selling console of all time after ps2 and NDS. :P

My point is that not everyone can afford the wii and 360. I said the above for basic illustration. Thats why PS2s still sell well new at $99. And why some people have not even that. You only need to read the news or turn on the TV to see that plenty of folks live paycheck to paycheck and that every dollar counts.

let's see right now 102 million consoles are so far sold this year. If waht your saying is true about 70 million people still have not made a choice on which console to buy. Their are still people who only and buy games for their ps2. The ps3 needs about 8 million to catch up.
I don't think it'll happen. Many people I know who had a ps2 moved to the 360. Hardcore ones went to the ps3 and some to wii. You saying that it is current ps2 owners. which is running out of. Their is proberly 20 million left more if they are still buying them. So no I don't agree with you

The poor, besides environment, have much better shit than I do. I remember my friends having like 200$ sneakers and armani clothes off of welfare savings and section 8.

The problem with using those numbers in any context, is that we don't exactly know how many people owned, and now own, multiple consoles.
