Forums - Gaming - Anyone buying Lego Star Wars complete Saga? Console choice... ugh.

They are currently both listed at $49 on gamestop's website.  I'll have to wait on the command button confirmation as I don't want to be forced to waggle constantly...  Thanks for the heads up.

Didn't know that. I just assumed LucasArts would milk the maximum amount of money they could from any given product. =P

Well doesn't change my decision personally. When played the 360's Demo of the Lego Star Wars II the only thing that kinda annoyed me was combat was pretty dull, and for me the Wii controls would probably liven that up. Even if you couldn’t use buttons (which it sounds like you already can) you still wouldn’t be “waggling” constantly since you play as characters who use guns as well.

I am getting it for the 360 instead of the Wii for three reasons:

- Online Co-op
- 360 Achievements
- HDTV (I have some larger TVs and Wii doesn't look near as good as 360 on them)

This sums up my reasons. I am really looking forward to playing this game with my son.

True on the gun toting characters, but I strongly prefer to play the jedis whenever possible.  I'm curious to see the control scheme and how they will compare graphically.  I am going to purchase a big screen this holiday so I'm going to want to see all the glory HD can provide on the 360.  If my daughter likes the waggle better, though, I'll suck it up and get the Wii version.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

I'll either get the PS3 or PSP version, I currently have the original trilogy on PSP (I finished the first one on PS2) so I'm not sure whether to upgrade it.

add me

I only have one of those two systems.

Yeah, that wasn't a useful point, was it?

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

This is the reason I didn't purchase Lego Star Wars 2 for the 360. I figured I could wait and get two games for less than the price of one.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Eventhough I own a Wii, the lazyness in me is telling me to pick up the 360 version.
