GT will have rally f1 and nasscar so i think its a more complete racing sim... forenza will not (not sure about rally). Customization such as decals different body kits are only in forenza (as far i know). the graphics look to be the same though

Actually, Forza does have stock cars.

they actually have nascar licenced cars and races?

EDIT: btw... no joke ... i have seen this game title for years and to this day i read it forenza......kind of embarasing but i just shoked myself with that realization... google fixed me up.... O_o

umm... no..

From playing the GT series from day one I can say:

GT series, all the cars exhaust sound the same..

example: Mustang and Corvette sound the same in game.

Forza took a mic and recorded every sound for ingame.

They took a Mic to everything from the exhaust to Turbo's.

They recorded live crashes, headon collisions, even doing 30mph and 60mph sideswipes of cars..

They look for as much ambiance as possible, such as crowd noise. "I like to get crowd reactions to different cars," noted Caviezel referring to the fact that different rides illicit different pops from fans.

They even put a mic on a fuel rig in the pits to get the sounds.

And thats from Forza 2.

I remember the big thing with Forza 1 was the way each and every car sounded different with almost every part upgraded to the engine and exhaust.

What is the difference between a Nascar stock car and an unlicensed one?  I really have no clue.

I didn't know Sony got the rights to Nascar from EA?

I know EA's Nascar rights end this year, but they have said they are renewing it..

And knowing EA, they do not want competition (football cough)... but who knows..

u can make a corvette look like a nascar, that dosent make it one (even though its very koo) . If you are going to have a driving sim with actual cars and authentic physics and so on, having unlicenced class of cars seems odd to me >_>

Thats the problem wit this tread >_< we dont know enough about eather games...all we can go on is the trailers and a demo...

Forza is the stick with which we prod it.

Now you know the difference.

those are all actual cars... but with only 16 cars its still not a real nascar experience, eventhough its really koo.
