What is the difference between Gran Turismo and Forza?

What is the difference between a Nascar stock car and an unlicensed one?  I really have no clue.

u can make a corvette look like a nascar, that dosent make it one (even though its very koo) . If you are going to have a driving sim with actual cars and authentic physics and so on, having unlicenced class of cars seems odd to me >_>
