Forums - Nintendo - Once you get M+, will you leave it on your wiimotes for good?

As others have said, as long as it doesn't affect battery life I'd like to leave it on. I think i might find the change in weight of the controller with or without the WM+ distracting.

Very likely, since I won't use any games using the Wii Wheel or Wii Zapper.

I don't use the Wii condoms and I also always remove the Wii Motion Plus when it's not needed because playing a NES game or Punch-Out!! with the remote on the side is just not comfortable with the M+ attached.

No, it prevents the controller from shutting off when you leave the system on (at least in my experience so far). Also, I don't need it for 90% of my games.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

No, it doesn't fit into the Wii Wheel

Is anybody thinking of cutting the skin off of theirs? Is it possible?

I'm thinking without the skin it might weigh about the same as the Wii remote with one on... Plus, its just a pain to have that thing on when changing batteries etc. I do use the wrist straps though as I accidentally sent my Wii Remote crashing at the wall one time when I was playing Boom Blox with sweaty hands... lol

^ This is you!

I leave one controller with it on, the other one with it off. That way I can easily switch between M+ and non M+ games. The only time I put the M+ on the other controller is if I have company overy playing. I took it off the other one, because when I play MLB 2K9, the timing of my swinging was off by a fraction of a second, because of the increased weight of the M+.....it kept making me strike out.

You don't need to cut it. I just turned my WM+ skin inside out and the MP+ came out easily.

I don't see why I would take it off unless I'm playing Mario Kart Wii (yes, I use the wheel). My charger doesn't care if you have the condom or the WM+ on it.

I probably wouldn't, for concerns of battery life.
