Looks good, but not good enough to claim for the best graphics.

Some effects are just not that great, and it looks too much like gears to me, the first one had it's own identity, this one looks generic.

Hmmm. The problem is VGChratz is always in a little bubble concerning PS3. It's a predominent PS site. Figures of game viewings etc show this.

Because alot of other forums are really blown away by LP2. Before constantly attacking you would od well to read the OP. I used a ? after best graphics ever, and simply said it has a case for it. I was very careful not to shove my opinion down peoples throats in the OP as to not get attacked here on VGChartz. Purely because I knew it was one of the few places on the web where I would get swarmed with fanboys stating PS3 FTW. It's sad really. I still got attacked regardless of my choice words.

Yeah you did, but you heavily implied you think it is the best, saying it is a crime to look this good, and you also have to start a thread claiming End of Enternity is the best looking jRPG ever, based on a SD video. You do this all the time, it is not just this thread, but you exaggerate everything, like your claims that Natal would double the 360's sales

And another point, proper PS3 fans did not pay $400 we paid £425

Are people here insane? It's not like I woke decided I know I'll pick some 360 exclusives put them up on VGChartz and say 360 graphics FTW.

They are bloody Multiplatform games. My disgust at the FF franchise is not something new and you should no this. Both FF13 and EOE ( or ROF ) are 3rd party and for both systems. LP2 is 3rd party and for both systems. Seriously I think some PS3 fans need to evaluate what they are squabbling over.

Yes I put my opinion on the OP. But I did not throw it out there to purposely pi** off Ps3 fans. I think that is easily seeable from the OP words.

Do well to read these to forums, which are actually far more balanced than VGChartz. Even fanboys of both sides respect multiplats superior graphics when it happens. Like I said VGChartz is in a bubble.

well when you make claims that its the best looking game this gen and that killzone 2 doesnt even come close, you should've expected that people will disagree with you..

Before you say best graphics of all time... this doesn't even look as good as Killzone 2, seriously. I mean, the graphics are still excellent, but stop exaggerating.

Even Alan Wake blows this out of the water, so it's not a fanboy thing.

hehe yeah, first it was fable 2, then star ocean4, alan wake, forza 3 and now LO2

Whats with the attacks? I NEVER said Fable 2 was the best graphics. Never said Star Ocean 4 was ( I said it's CGI cutscenes were awesome ). Forza 3 YES I HAVE STATED IT's THE BEST GRAPHICS. And I'M NOT ALONE. LO2 I stated is right up there with the likes of Forza 3, Alan Wake, Uncharted 2, Assasins Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and to a lesser extent Heavy Rain.

difference is I stated I respect his opinion. But I disagreed. Whereas because I disagreed you PS3 fanboys started ripping the pi**. IF my little girl starts doing that in pre school I'd been disappointed. It's not good when people try to surpress someones opinion. Accept the opinion and move on.

They look impressive but I need to see some real in-game footage before I hand it any kind of crown.

And the difference between the 360 and PS3 version of RE5 has really been overblown.



If you have some machine hooked up that counts the framerates you might notice a difference.

Okay, I just watched the trailer in HD, and I expected it to look amazing.

What the hell? Those graphics were around Resistance 2 level, maybe CoD4. The blimp, for example, had extremely blurry textures. The water looked good, but the water effects were horrible.

I don't see what you're getting excited about. Having said that, GameTrailers' HD looks like shit.

That's your opinion though. However using reasonable logic gears 2 definitely looks better than uncharted 1. Killzone 2 definitely looks better than gears 2. Lost planet 2 definitely looks better than gears 2. At least this 360 can't do killzone graphics and gears 2 is the best it has can be put to rest.

Killzone 2 doesn't even obliterate gears of war 2 it's just a better graphical game. It's hard to not sound ridiculous when you say lost planet 2 gets 'obliterated' by Killzone 2. A small tidbit to add, Lost planet 2 is much more open ended than killzone or gears etc. It's more like halo in it's vast environments but I believe some levels are even bigger in LP2 than in halo 3. To render those levels of graphic prowess in an open ended shooter is extremely impressive.
