Lets face it team sonic lost there touch.The past sonic games are horrible compared to the old ones.

No one day maybe Sonic will be revived.

they tried with 6 games and failed.

They should lend Sonic out to someone who still knows how to make games.

Your question is completely irrealistic and not really worth discussing...because sega still owns sonic and will do whatever they see profitable for the blue hedgehog.

Should Sega have gone out of business with the Dreamcast?
After all, they own so many franchises that are great which we will never see as sega jsut doesnt have the means to make those games today.

Games like Chakan, Streets of rage, Panzer Dragoon, Shining Force, Vectorman...etc...

Had Sega have gone out of business after the Dreamcast (when they were the best game developer in the world) ...other publishers could have bought those licences (including sonic) and make those games today.

Could have worked out for us gamers in the long run...

what sonic needs is to be fast platforming goodness.

They need to do with sonic what they did with New Super Mario Brothers. Rip the game down to it's bare minimal. Which means no more of those furry annoying sidekicks. (Tails is alright because he was in the original and everyone loves tails). Make it a Pseudo-3d 2d Platformer. Add new little features to the game like power rings that temporarily turn you into super sonic or something.

Then have nintendo develop it for the DS.

Instant 10 million seller.
