Forums - Nintendo - The Conduit Sales?

All I have to say is if this game does not sell at least 500K on it's first day or two this will be a bust and a lot of developers might not make game for the wii or they will have ass them like they been doing.

I think you're just being nice. If this game doesn't sell at least 5 million in the first five minutes, I'm sure no game will ever come to the Wii again. Even Nintendo will stop developing Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M and probably re-organize themselves to develop software for PS360 next year.

Nah... I expect they will file for bankruptcy and start making Hanafuda cards again any day now...

^ This is you!

I expect it to sell like Madworld pretty much.

see thats thr trouble. on wii it would have to sell 3 million to be significant. but it wouldnt have to sell as much on 360 because of the attach rate

VGChartz is a sales website, so I wish we had more sale data, more previews specially for anticipated games. Btu it has become more game oriented like any other site out there. I still prefer it though (please don't ban me).

Anyways, I think anything over a $100k will be fine.

Actually, I second the comment on the website evolution. I would support a stronger focus on sales data (prediction, analysis etc.) as well and less game reviews and stuff.

Third that motion. I find the site becoming more derivative as it tries to add lesser versions of features found on other sites.

OT: I'd like to see it hit 100k week one but I've seen to many weak wii launches. Probably around 50-60k

^^ preliminary numbers say abt 100k... thats not bad actually, and should have better legs than madworld and co

There's no way.  The Conduit has so much more buzz surrounding it -- just look at all the forums.  The question is how well it will end up selling, and sometimes you can get an idea be looking at early sales.  Finding a match online is never a problem and you never see the same names twice (except for Mr. Ford, but that's because many people left their profile names as default, not realizing they were stuck with it online).  It's obviously selling.  I fully expect this title to outsell CoD:WaW Wii.  Perhap 1.5 million total?

Check the news on the front page.

Heck, I'll make it even easier and post the link. Now that's service.
