Not if its just an upgrade, and not a completely new console. As a totally new console, of course i would.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Most Wii owners don't care about not having HD, they care about developers not creating compelling and well-made games. Also, 2010 is way early. If they came out with a HD console is 2011-2012 that would be fine.
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
Nah, its not the graphics that out me off the Wii or the gameplay, its the games. Not that they're bad they're just not my thing. A while back I was seriously considering getting one but I could barely find a handful of games I liked ..
Holy shit, Pach-man just won't let this Wii HD thing go, will he? It's one thing to be wrong, but when you're wrong about the same thing over and over again you're supposed to start examining the assumptions which have repeatedly lead you to a false conclusion.
Nintendo would need more than just pixels to draw me into new hardware. They would need compelling software with gameplay that couldn't be done on the Wii, and a comfortable upgrade path (controller and software backwards compatibility and a mechanism to transfer downloaded games).
Edit: Oh yeah, and PS3 overtaking the 360 is a Hail Mary longshot at this point, too.

And a true next generation household is the one that has motion sensing control not stunning graphics ;) Nintendo said that in 2006, Microsoft and Sony confirmed it in 2009.
Michael Pachter FTW... not. |

To many games coming for me to bother with a new system. I would buy it, but probably a year after it is out.

If it were an actual new console, yes.
If it were just a Wii that upscales, no.
Not having HD isn't a problem, if it were the Wii wouldn't consistantly sell more than both HD consoles combined. Compelling software regardless of whether or not it's HD is what has driven, and will continue to drive, sales for the Wii.
