Ah, I see. As for the new features, well, along with the day & night stuff from G/S, they added a five time periods a day which change a few things like the chance of a certain PKMN appearing in certain areas. That adds depth to the gameplay for sure. They also made some battle tweaks such as grouping moves in three types (Physical, Special and Others). Just a better way to sort moves, it's always good. And sadly, you don't do Wi-fi, which is a big part of the game. One of the many Wi-fi features is that you can trade with people all around the world and in the Global Trade Station, you can request for certain types if you know some of your friends don't have them. That's the best thing ever since sliced bread! Oh, and the Pokémon Contests are awesome. It adds more replay value to an already enormous game! o_O (Yes, I went to Wiki because I haven't played the game for two years.) @ Smoked: I agree that Ruby/Sapphire didn't bring much to the table, but Diamond felt like a completely new PKMN game. This one brought a lot of cool stuff to the series. |
I think Diamond and Pearl are amazing. Platinum even more so. I just get upset when people *coughZexen_lowecough* are butthurt to see it.
Also Contests are nice as well Wi-Fi, GTS, The Physical/Special Split and others.
Pixel Art can be fun.
