yup. They need to stop making new pokemon and just have a new story line and new ideas

This is when you have to realize that the target audience for pokemon is primarily new gamers who did not experience the old ones.  Tiring to you maybe, but to each new generation of gamers Pokemon is about the best thing since sliced bread.

Super Mario World was also heavily bundled with the SNES.  That's why the sales of the two games are so different.

Nothing's wrong with that, I never said anything about it.

But we see that it works and it still sells, so it's not because someone says Nintendo should stop selling the same games that they should. Plus, most of the games are better gameplay wise so it's good that there have been sequels.

If you had said something like Final Fantasy X-2, and we all know it was clearly not better than Final Fantasy X (maybe gameplay-wise... but as a whole package nah), it would have been easier for me to swallow. In other words: Don't touch my Pokemans! D:

Um, no.  We don't all know that because it's not true.

Final Fantasy X-2 was more engaging and had better gameplay than Final Fantasy X.  It also had a better sense of humor.

I preferred the story, the music and especially the grid system in Final Fantasy X.

Honestly, who cared about Paine (and she was one of the main characters)? Where did she get in the picture? And Yuna trying to find a fake Tidus? Also, it was a rehash of the same areas with a few new enemies and stuff, but nothing interesting to see.

I had high expectations for the game, but even the final boss didn't deliver. Nope, I didn't think X-2 was a good Final Fantasy. But like I said, the gameplay was not bad at all. It was a good action game for sure. ;)

Suikoden II. III and IV are garbage apparently.

Super Mario World. Mainly because Yoshi's Island is more of a game in its own right than a sequel.

Starcraft. First one is the best RTS game I've ever played and the sequel looks like a graphic update with the II on the end.
