Anyhow, what I was attempting to write was that, Montana, you can level grind all the way to 99 at the temple of enlightenment with the Hellish Kelelon!! Secondly, the Temple is not the last dungeon, there is another cave after it. Have any of you been to Kelelon village and defeated all the optional bosses in the game, including the one at Numara Atoll and the toughest one in the game in the backyard, he is known as the immortal, if not, attempt them and find out the difficulty I was talking about just now.

Yeah, the Hellish Kelelon is about the one exception. Besides that (and maybe a couple other examples), grinding is limited. Beating the first two bosses is so difficult because of that.  I never said that the temple was the last dungeon, and none of the side bosses were difficult. I ate a freakin' sandwich while beating the boss at Numara Atoll.

Lost Odyssey is better in graphics. Tales of Vesperia is the best tales game.

Montana, you aren't the one that said the temple was the last dungeon, that was Outlawauron. By the way, you eating a sandwich while fighting the boss at Numara Atoll is freaking hilarious, but I bet you can't do that while trying to beat the Immortal at the Backyard, and in only 30 turns which is the secret condition.

I haven't played Tales of Versperia so my opinion wouldn't make any sense but I can speak for Lost Odyssey. I played it about a year ago and it is a truly amazing JRPG and should not be missed. I would put Lost Odyssey above Tales of Vesperia and I'm sure some of the other JRPG owners would say the same thing.

Go for Lost Odyssey first and then Tales of Vesperia.

I said end-game dunegon, not the last dunegon.

I went out and got Tales- Lol- like the last one in Manhattan. I'll pick up LO later as it doesn't seem nearly as hard to find.

Lost Odyssey easy. You say your playing Final Fantasy VII? Then pick up Lost Odyssey! Its made by most of the original team that produced Final Fantasy VII and shares a somewhat similar turnbased combat system.

If Vesperia wasn't Cellshaded and looked nothing like Anime it wouldn't have half the sales or reviews and the last 3rd of the story is trash.

You realize that Cell-shaded games that look like Anime selling much lower than more realistic games like Lost Odyssey, and also that Lost Odyssey had lower reviews than Tales. Lastly, someone with an avatar from Star Ocean 4 shouldn't be talking trash about story in any RPG.

Lost Odyssey is a bit overrated on this forum. I had fun with it, and overall it is a good game - but there were several issues which bothered me.

Also, the first two bosses were the only difficult battles in the game. Both can be beaten with strategy, though; they don't require luck. (I was actually disappointed that the game became easier after that.) The Temple of Enlightenment does not require any grinding to beat.

I've heard the Tales of Vesperia demo is a horrible representation of the full game, which actually seems to be the case for most JRPG demos. For that reason, comparing LO to the ToV demo is unfair. I hated the demo myself and haven't bought the full game because of it, but I'm still tempted to try it.
