The X360 will sell 11 million in 2009. And we should be very happy for that, at least if it's accomplished against a $299 priced Fall-Holiday season PS3.

^^^ I hate the three of you! 38M is outrageous! Thats only what the Xbox 360 sold last year except down by an average of 23k for the rest of the year.

If Sony has only a minor price cut (IMO $50 or less) then I think that the 360 has a good shot at making it. If Sony cuts the PS3 price by $100 (highly doubtful) than no.
