They are focusin on Mass Effect now. And when it releases and they see the sales it produces, I believe they are then going to start production on KOTOR 3 for the 360.

I played the first one by the way and it was amazing, haven't played the second one though.

No, the Mass Effect team is focusing on Mass Effect. And will be for some time, as it's going to be a trilogy. Dragon Age team is tied up for a while, and both the other teams are tied up in new, unnannounced projects. If it's not in development right now, its going to be quite a while (until Dragon Age is done at the earliest) until development even starts---that's if Bioware ends up making it, not Obsidian or somebody else.

I like the Wii and all but I'd be one sad panda if Kotor 3 didn't go on 360. A star wars action game would be great on the Wii a star wars rpg I don't know though I could be proven wrong.

For me Imo I think it should just stay on the Xbox.

I miss the rant's of HK-47 about the various meat bags he wishes to kill.

i would buy whatever system needed to play kotor 3, even if it was a system that only played kotor 3 named the kotor 3 wiiplaybox. Star Wars Rules. I don't care too much who developes because both games were GREAT

Okay....I misunderstood your post. If its a trilogy well Bioware bring it on. Thats why I'm a 360 owner.

I hope they drop the whole KotOR plot continuity, and do something new. The first game worked pretty well, but the second one went so screwy that it would require some serious retconning to get it running again. Besides, wasn't the amount of surviving jedi somewhere under ten at the end of the second one?

Even if they would start of a fresh late from a different time in the Star Wars universe, it would be a lot better IMO if they do something original like Mass Effect. Didn't they already say they're making it into a trilogy anyway?

Most of he problems in KOTOR2 can be directly attributed to Lucasarts rushing Obsidian to wrap the game up for a Christmas release. Obsidian had to change the ending and axe a good deal of the side quests because of that. I really wish they'd do a full version of KOTOR2, the way Obsidian wanted it with all the side content and the real ending included.

Darc is 100% right.

KOTOR2 was rushed to Christmas, and suffered major issues. Heck, the DVDs actually have half of the endgame cutscenes (the real endings). But they aren't viewable due to Obsidian never finishing them.

There actually is a full version KOTOR 2 in the works - fans of KOTOR 1/2 are re-working the cutscenes and the endgame to what Obsidian really wanted.

KOTOR 3 is in the works as far as I've heard, but Mass Effect comes first. ME is the spiritual sequel to KOTOR. Nevertheless, as far as I've heard, KOTOR 3 is underway, but might be years (ie, 2010+) till it comes out.
