I'm going to guess mid 80s, with a 7.0 or less from Gamespot (for reference, their score for the original Wii Sports was 7.8, but that was before the Wii's existence was seen as diametrically opposed to the "core"). I predict the positive points will center around precision of Wii Motion Plus and the game as being fun and accessible to everyone, but criticism will center around being casual-oriented, requiring a controller upgrade, and being "more of the same".

mid 80's. Lets be serious, this game marks the cresendo of casual gaming for Nintendo. Its got lots of sports, a beautifuly designed island, brand new "core" technology and its a sequel to the biggest game of this and many previous generations.

Plus that Pilotwings hook has got to work on some of these cynics.

It has nothing to do with ''casual haters'', the game just isn't that good to deserves a 90+ ranking. Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros are both casual games and didn't get a single bad review score. I think some Wii fans need to stop being so paranoiac with Wii rankings.


Super smash bros brawl is a core game just like super mario galaxy... So, you know the game won't be that good? Because you have played it already right? Thought so...

Seriously, a game is not casual just because it uses cartoony graphics. I'm not paranoiac, but I've seen enough complaints about casual games to justify my opinions.

I think it'll be better quality wise than Wii sports and Wii play (all 3 are glorified tech demo's).

I think it'll be decent. Reviewers will go "BAAAAAAAAAAAW CASUAL GAMEZ!11!11!!!", so there'll be a bunch of low scores pulling down the higher ones, and it won't end up with anything higher than 7.5-7.8.

IGN will probably give it a good review after reading their hands on. Nothing, but positive things.

I sure hope it ends higher then 70 on metacritic.
