Forums - Sales - The Big 3 YTD YOY sales and market share update.

Well yeah, bronze trophies are the easiest to get then silver then gold. For example, finishing a game in normal may earn you a silver trophy, and finishing it on hard generally earn you a gold trophy.

When you get every trophy in a game, you get the platinum one for that game.

All those trophies give more or less experience points depending on their difficulty. Platinum giving the most points.

So it's definitely a better system :
- you level up like in a RPG
- different trophy levels give a better sense of achievement than pure points

I prefer points.
Only thing I like is the Platinum for getting all the trophies in a game.

How is it like an RPG?

In an RPG when you level you get extras in one form or another and what does it take to level?

For instance what level are you?

nothing surprising at all.

The consoles which havn't had a price cut are going down YOY.....accelerated by this economy problem the world's having

While Xbox 360 is going up, which it should.....its closer in price to the Ps2 than the Ps3 after all

It will be fun to see what happens after SONY drops price.......remember 1 year ago, everyone was counting 360 out just the way PS3 is being counted out now

kowenicki saying "the price drop won't have that much of an effect".......same was thought about the 360 price drop & look whats happened.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

@darth : yeah, people must be very delusional if they think the price cut won't make a huge difference.

It already made a huge difference for the 360.

Why are we still posting in this thread

there's a new one up now!

@Lord : I'm level 7 right now with roughly 300 trophies, levels climb slowly.

Sony stated they intended to use levels in some ways, including Home or rewards, but right now I must admit they're still not used that much unless you compare with your friends.
