Forums - Sony - So I just downloaded the gt5 e3 2009 1080p WOW

GT definitely has the better lighting. Forza 3 cars while being beautiful still have a plastic look...

On the physics side, I'm not sure but I know many real pilots use GT for training and not Forza. They even tried to put a GT champion on a real track and he finished third so it must be the most realistic...

Heck, you can't even connect a decent wheel like the logitech G25 on 360, so I don't even know how Forza players could say it's realistic (or do they play with the pad ?)

yeah...no, they look like well polished show cars. Ulike the cars in GT5 which look fake due to different finish textures on the cars.

Maybe you think GT5 have better physics, yet you don't know how to explain it either.

Why is it so hard to believe that Forza 3 has better physics..

Would it take Tony Stewart or Mario Andretti to convince you? maybe not, cuz they are not video gamers, right? ..

So then what?

I didn't say which has better physics. I just want more explaination in detail that how and why is it better for the people who said so.

Not just Forza is better because XXXXXX said so.

and some non-photomode screenshots I found for F3.

Well, yeah you did. Sorry mate, but cherrypicked screenshots will not get you anywhere when you have been caught in a lie.

Well, yeah, he did. He specifically said that Forza wasn't as realistic due to some grass and sand thing.

Liers and idots are the worst.

Mitsubishi has used Gran Turismo as a tool for testing their real life vehicles....Forza has been used for what again?

Man those screenies look crap compared to the photo mode images we have seen from Turn 10. I think its just a case of a crappy camera used to take the photo. Hoping to see more photos of actual gameplay not in photomode with a good quality camera.

Those pics really dont do Forza justice.

But what is clear and no crappy camera is going to cause this is the jaggies in those images. Which is a surprise to me as i figured the AA on the 360 would reduce that by alot compared to PS3s lack of AA in their games which cause jaggy heaven. lol

The is the shot im referring too. Notice the jaggies in the grill and lack of detail on the car compared to the Photomode shots.

Turn 10 released image.

I believe a better camera used to take the photos would be better way to judge game play shots to photomode shots.

That video is cgi. What idiot would really believe that sony wouldn't tout those graphics if they were actually in game. Seriously, someone give me a reasonable feasible answer to why sony didnt brag about this being in game.

Looks like ass on my 1440p monitor.  /flamebait

Too the people saying it's CGI, it's not. It's really not that hard to make a car game look good. Need For Speed Underground 2 looked good on PS2 back in 2005. Really.
