People here claim vgchartz.com is filled with PS3 fanboys in many threads. Alot more than Wii and 360.

So my question is:

Why would PS3 fanboys choose vgchartz over all other gaming-sites?

Not just Vgchartz, check out N4G for PS3 fanboyism.

They haven't chosen this site over all the others but like the Wii and 360 fanboys this is another site used to express fanboyism.

There are more PS3 fanboys on the net due to how successful sony have been last two gens.
If it was MS that won the last two gens expect the net and these sites to be mostly MS fanboys.

Not neccessarily more PS3 fans in terms of overall users... but of the vocal section (who use the forums more) I would say it is about 45% PS dominant, 35% Nintendo and 20% Xbox

It happened between the time Blu-Ray "won" and GTAIV/MGS4 releases.... before then this site was very much Nintendo dominant.

Also, many gaming sites will have a PS bias in general due to the success of the PS2... even if the PS3 has been a slight fall from grace it will take longer than a couple of years. And poor sales is not a reason for PS fans to dissapear from a website, even if it is sales based. It is more likely to push the most fanatic into defensive mode and just be more vocal.

I thought the PS3 fans were just louder... likely because the puberal hormones going through their body....

I have a habit of posting then adding little extras.
I've been reading this site for over a year and half and it has been mostly PS3 but I believe it was Ninty before then.

If you look at the sony fanboys on other sites they have been saying wait til...
when the price reaches...

Sales have been a big issue, going from first to last has made them vocal and as this is a sales site I imagine they are attracted here and to go into defence mode.

The funny thing is look at the other sites and whenever figures from this site is brought up its sony fanboys that do everything to discredit this site and its findings.
That was what bought me to this site as I thought it would give me a better discussion free from them

I don't see it. Let's take this thread for example. The first 3 to respond to this thread: 2 Wii fanboys and a 360 fanboy.

I wanted to use the "they're all 12years old" comment but that seems to upset people.

You could say that but the data suggests that the average age for PS3 owners is older then 360 and Wii owners.
