^^^ wait until you see Sony can't even keep up with the demand in Japan alone.

Not everyone likes touch screen. I'd actually prefer some games without it..

Not for $250 though.

why would people keep thinking Sony will drop the price of PSP Go soon?
it's not like PSP-3000 is no longer available or unable to play games released through PSN store

Sony has nothing to lose even when PSP Go stop selling
they can simply cut back the production of PSP Go
but the price difference between PSP-3000 and PSP Go needs to be there

i agree that $80 is a little bit high, $50 sounds better, but the pricetag of $219 just doesn't sound right
if Sony is smart, they should include a PSP game voucher or a $25 PSN card in the package

The PSP brand will get damaged though if they screw up the launch of the PSP Go.

Sony can gladly take my money for a day one purchase =) That PSP Go is gorgeous...preferably black tho lol

I prefer the white. I have a silver PSP (the fugly color that came with daxter) so I kind of want a new one...that and the umd door was broken so when I open it opens way too wide. :(

Silver is fugly?

White is better?

You just blew my mind.

Silver is terrible. The R&C bundle (I don't know the colors names) have a better silver then the one that came with Daxter. It's like a pale silverish color.

I'm going to disagree with you on this one. I've owned a black 1000, silver 2000 and white 2000, and the silver is my favourite, while the white was my least. This Ratchet one sounds interesting though, maybe after seeing that it would change my view.

This?

or this?

Well, in person I mean. Looks more or less the same though, probably just a difference in our preferences.

A. Smaller screensize
B. No support for UMD games
C. No UMD drive
D. Double the price
E. No conceivable advantages whatsoever
F. Sliding hinge will inevitably break, needless moving part
G. STILL doesn't protect the screen in your pocket
H. Have to rebuy your games

Why exactly, do some of you want this device?

A smaller screen...is not a plus because it's more portable.

This device costs less to create, and is lower quality.

Nobody should buy this, imo. People should send Sony a message that they won't just buy anything they put out strictly in the interest of supporting the company. They should actually make it worth buying, or at least an upgrade from an old console.

The purpose for the Go was to prevent piracy. Why are we paying extra for loss of SEVERAL major features, including screensize, ability to play games we already purchased, and UMD drive, when we could get a superior product for less.

I don't know how many people are really buying this, or just saying they are to support Sony.

Not ONE THING on this product is upgraded and many things are downgraded, and obvious flaws to the console, like controls, haven't been fixed at all.

Don't buy this. It sends a bad message to Sony.

It says they can take features away, charge vastly more, slap a new name on it, and it will boost sales....just no.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
