Forums - Nintendo - I'm in a gaming slump; Say what Wii games I should be excited for and why

Read the title, its true

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I read the title and I say you need to be more decisive.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

okie doke, well your profile doesn't say where you live so I'm going to do this assuming you live in NA.

Little King's Story is coming, which seems like a really cool Pikmin like game with a funny story

Muramasa looks very pretty and seems good for some fast if perhaps slightly mindless combat

Fragile looks to have a very cool atmosphere

SMG2 is a sequel to SMG, and that's enough

Those are what come to mind immediately.

Madworld wont do a damn thing because it ends as soon as you start having fun.

Anyways you have a whole GC library and 3 years of Wii games. I doubt you have looked hard enough or even bothered at all.

Pikmin 3 is coming so expect that good because its a sequal to the highy wanted
tite on new play control and will be comoin (hopefully) next year

Monster Hunter 3 a RPG a game made from the psp franchise. This game is a wii exclusive
and will a very good RPG and might be the best for the system

New super mario bros wii and SMG2 these 2 titles have both high praise and score.
These games will both be out exclusive to wii.

OK dude, trust me on this.

There's a little gem on the GC called Baten Kaitos Origins. I honestly don't know anyone except one person who doesn't like the game. It's amazing and the main story's 60+ hours and has 100 sidequests. It also has one of the greatest soundtracks ever, and has the best turn based gameplay IMO, and really good story and characters. Also, no random battles. Buy it. You can find it cheap online. And the series needs more recognition.

Either that or just buy ToS on the GC.

I have seriosly considered Baten Kaitos, the only thing that stops me is the card battling aspect.

You should pick up Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean before Origins. IMO it's a lot better, not to mention it's the first one that was released (though Origins is a prequel).

See, I preferred the battle system in Eternal Wings. I felt it was too dumbed-down and had less depth in Origins.
