Glad to see that what I have been saying for years is now going mainstream.

I like your definition of mainstream:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change
This article documents current scientific opinion on climate change as given by synthesis reports, scientific bodies of national or international standing, and surveys of opinion among climate scientists. It does not document the views of individual scientists, individual universities, or laboratories, nor self-selected lists of individuals such as petitions.
National and international science academies and professional societies have assessed the current scientific opinion, in particular recent global warming. These assessments have largely followed or endorsed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) position of January 2001 that
An increasing body of observations gives a collective picture of a warming world and other changes in the climate system... There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.[1]Since 2007 no scientific body of national or international standing has maintained a dissenting opinion. A few organisations hold non-committal positions.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
Man made global warming is a mith just like the story about humans evolving from slime in a primordial soup.
I think goverments should just watch how many CO2 they throw to the atmosphere, even if it didnt affect the global warming it still polutes.

I have higher priorities like clean water, cleaning plastic out of the ocean which is accumulating at a massive rate I might add and clean air to breathe. Global Warming is a scandal because it takes time, money and energy away from solving issues which are solvable today!
Tease.

So I guess the story about a guy putting every species known to man on a boat (including species that modern day scientists have not even discovered yet) and it raining for forty days and forty nights must be true then, right?
Back on topic, there are plenty of legitimate reasons, including national defense, diplomatic relations, and economic development, to reduce our dependence on carbon-based fuels. I wish there were more conspiracy theories like that frankly which would help us out that much if we followed along with them.

It's well documented that the editor of the global warming portions of Wikipedia is a follower of global warming dogma. Do a search on this fact if you don't believe me. Quoting Wikipedia on anything is grounds for failure in and of itself (not to mention laughs), but especially on this issue.
