As we do not know what it will do for the rest of the world because we do not know what it will actually do when it is done I find this difficult to answer.

So far we know it can be used to play Car games both sitting down and standing up. We know you can play buzz sitting down. We are told it will recognise you and interact, we are told you can interact with your Xbox using gestures. We know it can be used as a Goaley simulator.

Not sure how any of that translates into sales in Japan. I would of previously thought they would of liked the tech and gadget aspect of it but as the Japanese market is largely turning off consoles in general this will not make much difference either I suspect.

Best we just write Japan off after all even the PS3 is struggling in its home market.

Natal probably won't make much of an impact in Japan. It's an entirely different market there with different taste and sensibilities. Wii isn't a success there just because of motion control but the games on the Wii is geared more towards the Japanese. But the Xbox 360 is currently holding it's own without Natal in Japan. Usually it sells around 1-2K a week now it's around 4-6K a week.

Like always PS3 fanboys are already making excuses to shut down the 360 in some aspect, this time being any potential for sales in Japan. The reason this time is......
