I put the epidural off for so long that by the time I got it I was a psycho and in soo much pain...the dumb ass lady couldn't get the epidural in my back so she had to do it three times and then she actually stabbed herself with the needle she used on me so she was freaking out...but once it was in the pain went away and I slept for a bit.  The worst part was when she was actually born-I screamed at the top of my lungs hahaha...but I'd do it all over again. Having her is amazing.

 i changed my mind, i don't want one. i'll just stick to being an auntie! i learned in class that in order for the baby to come out, the pelvic bone has to crack and the baby has to turn 90 degrees. can't believe you'd wanna do that again! lol. 

she is a cutie though, what a great excuse to fill the house with game-related teddies and toys and stuff ^_^ yaaaaay!

J/k, enjoy the best thing in the world. I have a 1 year old niece and I love her so much. I cant even imagine how much Im going to love my own child one day.

It's pretty common for the epidural to fail first, since it has to be right on the spot, the position it has to be put isn't easy and the mother has problems lying still when the doctor is putting it.

And no, the pelvic bone doesn't usually crack when giving birth. Since the different bones in pelvis are jointed together, the pregnancy hormones cause the joint to loosen so, that the different bones can move enough for the baby to come out withouth causing injury. Some peoples pelvis do crack however, but that seems to be pretty rare.

anything that requires the administration of pain-supressing drugs to be done succesfully without causing huge distress is, imo, a scay, bad thing.. LOL. not that i'm not happy for xtastemyvenom and euphoria, their baby girl is beautiful..  but uh, i'll pass... >.<

Congratz! I see the pics and I think I can't wait to be a dad but then I think about being 21 and in college and thinking about how I'm still going to wait a while LOL. Anyway *passes out the cigars* hope the best for both of you and your baby :)
